Name of Book:

WOMAN,THOU ART LOOSED!

Author:

T.D. Jakes

What drew you to read this book?:

The author is the one that drew me into reading this book, I love reading T.D. Jakes' books because they encourage me and they help me go back to my drawing board and also when he writes they're always scripture references.

What impact did this book have on your life?:

This book teaches numerous ways on how to heal and move on from the past. It teaches how to try and understand people on a deeper level, and not to force God on them. Most people have dealt with the worst challenges and blame God instead of seeking Him through His word, the bible. The book helps you realize that wounds that are not treated don't heal, does not matter how much time passes. Understanding that you can't change the past but only learn from it. We need to do an introspection before we move on with our lives, similar to the story of Tamar.

In a paragraph, what is the main point of this book?:

The main point of the book is healing and moving on from your past, no matter how painful it was, no matter how you felt at that moment, you need to heal and move on because your past belongs in the past. We hold ourselves back by focusing on what happened instead of focusing on healing and being a better version of ourselves. We hold ourselves prisoner instead of healing and setting ourselves free from the past and fully moving on.

Who would benefit from reading this book?:

Everyone can benefit from this book, especially Pastors and leaders so they can understand what people are dealing with and try to give them few ways on how to deal and heal from the past. It is also for those who have struggled to heal from their traumatic experiences.
