I am a Physiotherapist by trade, but my husband and I are also deacons, part of the leadership team at Venture Church in Johannesburg. I've always loved reading but over the last few years haven't made it a part of my down time. So it's definitely something I'm wanting to get back to doing again!

What drew you to read this book?:

The title made me think "How much could she possibly write about the words 'Thank You'". So I was definitely interested to read more about gratitude, and especially because the season I've been going through has called for a lot of it, I wanted to read more into it.

What impact did this book have on your life?:

For myself, I've been struggling with focusing on all the good and the blessings in my life. All that has been running through my mind is the endless negatives of my life, how things weren't going to plan or felt like a constant uphill battle. Until reading this book.

In a paragraph, what is the main point of the book:

The main point of this book is how a grateful heart has so much power in all aspects of our lives. It explains how no matter your circumstances, God can make it beautiful and turn things for our good, and because of this, whatever situations we find ourselves we should be thankful because ultimately it's for our good and His glory.

Who would benefit from reading this book?:

This book is for your mom, dad, sister, brother, cousin, best friend, person you pass on the street or anyone who can say the words "thank you". We could all use a bit of thankfulness! If you are specifically going through a season of feeling overwhelmed by negativity, discontent, bitter or are defeated, this is definitely for you!
