I'm a wife and mother to grown-up children and recently found myself catapulted into a new season and having to re-evaluate my life. I've loved and served Jesus all my life and He is my anchor. I want to continue reflecting His grace and love for others. I've rekindled my passion for working with words and taken up freelance writing again. I love knitting and crocheting creative items to give away as gifts and to help keep others warm. I'm an avid reader, armchair traveler, and want-to-be gardener.

What drew you to read this book?:

The title of the book expressed my exact thoughts. Aging is inevitable and I want to do it gracefully while still fulfilling the purpose that God has for me and allow Him control of this season of my life too.


What impact did this book have on your life?:

It spoke into so many areas of my life, addressing my fear of an uncertain future. God has still got a plan for my future. He has been faithful and involved in my life since an early age and will continue. The author shares openly her experiences and encourages a positive attitude and trust in God. The book helps the reader to reflect on health, nutrition, and exercise.


In a paragraph, what is the main point of the book?:

The main point is to encourage the reader to look after herself while trusting God. Although health may become a challenge and there may be increasing physical limitations, a positive mental attitude is key. God still has a purpose for each of us and we can find ways to adapt our lives to fulfill this purpose.


Who would benefit from reading this book?:

Women of all ages: Younger women will be encouraged to put good healthy habits into place to maintain peak physical health and to look after themselves. It will also give insight into the challenges that aging parents may be facing. For more mature readers: It's never too late to put good principles into practice. You will find the book very encouraging.
