Our God THE creator, uncreated - by Yule Oswald

"For For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”  Psalm 139: 13-16

The love of God spills out the pages of the bible and onto my being as I read the account of my creation.

My creation was not a haphazard event. I was made by the definition of skill. Who took the time to fashion my days on this earth in a particular way, according to what His eyessaw.

Man, created, yet made in his image

On this earth God has given man vision, the ability to see, and create the things that he sees.

As Christian creatives our mandate, is to seek the lost, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that Jesus has commanded us. We do this through our creativity

(although not only bound to it). Through our creativity we bring reconciliation in the communities we live in, in nations and wherever we find ourselves. It is a calling according to what has been fashioned for us by the God who knows us in ways we can’t fathom.

As we create, we look to God to teach us, that we may fearfully carry out the good works God has prepared for us with skill, discipline, detail and above all love.

What we create carries the gospel. What we create has been given to us my God for His purposes.

Yule is married to Randon Oswald, mother to three children, creative coach, creative director, casting director, actor, director, presenter, songwriter, MC.
