What drew you to read this book:
A friend shared it with me but I also intrigued by the question on the cover,” Will you answer the call to radical change? It is not always easy for us to embrace change even worse when it is radical based on this question I knew that there will be a lot of gems in this book.
What impact did this book have in your life:
It reminded me about the importance of letting go of the past, handing things over to God and allowing him to be part of everything we are going through. We should allow God to work in us by obeying him. It opened my eyes to the type of relationship we should have with God. All we need to do is to obey Him and He will provide for our needs. We should forgive ourselves and cut off things that prevent us from reaching our destiny.
In a paragraph, what is the main point of this book:
This book outlines the process one may go through in their journey towards transformation and change in their lives. It is a story about a young lady Faith and her journey of transformation, healing and change towards her God given purpose. The first thing she had to face was forgiveness especially forgiving her absent father. This chapter highlights the importance of forgiving others who have hurt you and most importantly forgiving yourself. In forgiveness we also pray for those who hurt us in our life journey. Faith went through a season where she also had to embrace her singleness because God wanted to walk with her through it. She has always been involved in unhealthy relationships. God revealed his plans for her in that season of singleness. Faith also needed to spend time of introspection about her relationship with her biological father, through this introspection she managed to take her pain and hand it over to God. This reminded her that God is the father to the fatherless. Transformation and radical change is an intentional book and helps one to set a clear vision and goals for their lives. The book highlights things to consider when setting holistic long term and short goals for our lives i.e. spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, financial and education. The author encourages us to trust the Lord in our journey of transformation and change.
