The world has never been more distracting—joy has never been more possible.

You live with a massive amount of distraction:

  • Desperate headlines

  • Smartphone scrolling

  • An endless to-do list

Not to mention the nagging questions of your heart:

  • Am I making the right decision?

  • Am I with the right person?

  • Will my past mistakes keep me from my

  • best future?

Through the pithy and inspiring storytelling that has endeared him to millions, New York Times bestselling author Bob Goff invites you to laugh with more gusto, dream with more confidence, and love with more intention in this disarming call to live Undistracted.

From visiting friends in San Quentin to accidentally getting into a stalker’s car at the airport to establishing Uganda’s first space program, Bob shows you the way back to an audaciously attentive life.

Your undistracted life is an adventure waiting to happen. What stories will you live with undistracted purpose and unstoppable joy?

Name of Book:

Bob Goff

What drew you to read this book?:

The title 'Undistracted' led me to believe the book would be about devout worship to God, and about a single-minded attitude in serving God.

What impact did this book have on your life?:

It had no impact in the sense that it did not change my life.

In a paragraph, what is the main point of the book?:

I was excited to get into this book, to dig into the scriptures, and to gain richer insights into living a devoted life to God, and to see my walk challenged to greater heights. Scripture verses are paraphrased and play a small role in the story. I felt this was more of a self-help book to live a happy and adventurous life. At the core there is nothing wrong with the book, it's mostly about Bob Goff and the stories of his life, it is a great story and an easy read. I would exercise caution regarding this book as a guide to a deeper walk with God because of one stark reality - the book is about Bob Goff and it is not a book that clearly testifies of God's power in his life.

Who would benefit from reading this book?:

Someone looking for an easy, fun read.
